Amanda is a dynamic leader, seasoned entrepreneur and passionate community advocate. These experiences are rooted in her passion for transformative storytelling, recognizing its capacity to shape our actions, foster empathy, navigate change, and achieve results.

As a transformation leader in the federal public service, Amanda specializes in actively driving change to enhance citizen and employee experiences while improving government operations. Her expertise encompasses public policy, project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. The latter half of her public sector career has focused on implementing complex digital solutions while prioritizing the human side of change. She uniquely excels in comprehending and translating the distinct challenges government faces, developing customized strategies that align people, technology, and processes with business needs.

 

Beyond her government career, Amanda, a published author, wrote two children’s books—Little Voice and The Lighthouse. These books aim to instill a growth mindset in the next generation while advocating for mental health discussions, both at home and in the classroom. Amanda directs a portion of all proceeds from these books to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and the National Canadian Mental Health Association.

 

Outside of work, Amanda strives to candidly build awareness for important causes and community efforts, including her passion for mental health and women’s health. She is also a passionate photographer, writer, and dog mom.
